Que tal comunidad no puedo montar un diskette  lo meto a la unidad floppy, me meto al navegador de archivos y me sale el icono de Disquete le doy doble clic y me sale:
No se pudo montar el lugar
No hay un soporte de la unidad

entonces me fui a la consola y hice lo siguiente todo como root
mkdir /home/usuario/Prueba
mount /dev/fd0 //home/usuario/Prueba

Resultado: Tengo que especificar el sistema de archivos

luego hice:

mkdir /floppy
mount -t vfat /dev/fd0 /floopy/

Resultado: Supuestamente se monto pero cuando entro al directorio no encuentro nada!

En cualquier intento trato de desmontar la unidad y me sale que no se ha desmontado

El diskette tiene unas fotos de un accidente en carro que tuvo mi papa y las quiere recuperar alguien sabe que puedo hacer??

Gente en mis aventuras con debian me descargue el metagoofil 1.4b y lo corro desde debian 6,

./metagoofil.py -d domain.com -l XXX -f all - o ejemplo - t temporal

Completa la busqueda y no muestra ningun resultado me muestra todo a cero, que no encontro nada.

Alguien sabe porque es esto??

Gente por lo que veo en el tp-link las funciones que trae, no es lo mismo el fortiwifi? nos venden el fortiwifi-40c porque queremos establecer un firewall para la red de la empresa pero por lo que entiendo sirve de igual forma el tp-link que tenemos al fortiwifi que quieren comprar, yo soy de la idea de instalar el pfsense pero si les comento que no tenemos ni idea de como funciona el pfsense y el fortiwifi XD

Ustedes que opinan?

En el trabajo me pidieron hacer copias de respaldo de los equipos mac de la empresa, un usuario no sabe que contraseña tiene la maquina para poder hacer el respaldo, ya realize varios pasos que encontre googleando y nada ninguno resulto, y pense si entrando como monousuario y modificando el archivo passwd borrando el segundo campo que es el de la contraseña creen que pueda entrar al sistema como root y establecer una nueva?? dentro del monousuario uno de los pasos que recuerdo que hice fue
#passwd root
new password: ***
retype: ****
Unable .......no recuerdo que decia

El metodo que les pregunto lo eh calado con el sistema operativo de CentOS y me ha funcionado pero no se si siendo una Mac le quite el acceso al sistema, ese es mi temor!

PD:No tienen los cd del equipo T_T

Instalando en una maquina el vnc4server en Debian6 cuando hacia la conexión con el vncviewer(asi se escribe??? XD )desde otra maquina me salia un mensaje que me hacia referencia a la seguridad del equipo que daba el servicio y no me dejaba iniciar sesion en el, supese que era el firewall (el supongo iptables) del servidor pero no tenia ni una regla o filtro establecido, y moviendo a la insterfaz grafica desde el entorno de Gnome en el menu:

Sistema/Preferencias/Escritorio Remoto

Ya solo marque la opcion de permitir a otros usuarios ver mi escritorio y funciono!!!

Pregunta: Como se haria esto desde la terminal suponiendo que no tengo entorno grafico???

Ando navengando en la programacion de python por un libro que encontre en la red que me intereso pero para entenderlo ocupo python, en fin hice esto:

Equipo: Debian 6
Entorno Grafico: Gnome 2.30.2

Entre a la sección de desarrollo luego a IDEs y le di instalar PIDA(IDE para python)

Me fue a una terminal
e hice

apt-get update

ok!!! luego

apt-get upgrade

y salio lo mismo!! trate de desisntalar unos programas y salio lo mismo.

T_T no se cual sea el error!, ya hace tiempo me cargue el SO y lo tuve que volver a instalar porque no pude arreglar un problema con el entorno grafico, no quiero hacer lo mismo.

Buenas noches, me descargue debian 6 ia64 con la instalacion minima en cd, para mi lap, tengo mi compu con Intel Core I5, mi windows 7 home premium 64 bits, segun la arquitectura que elegi para la descarga es la correcta para mi portatil o me equivoco??
Trate de bootear el cd pero nunca booteo, entonces arranque con otro cd pero con debian para I386 si arranco. Que puedo hacer si yo quiere Debian 64 bits en mi equipo???

pero no esto seguro de que tan formal o mejor dicho validez tenga lo que ofrecen???
Buscando en google no encontre nada mas que la misma pagina ofreciendo los cursos. Si alguien ah tomado el curso o sabe algo al respecto me podria informar que tal esta.

Buenas noches pueblo, mi primo se quiere volver chango y yo le sigo XD, mi primo quiso instalarse el ubuntu en su portatil de hp con windows 7 starter, no me dijo nada hasta que no arranco su windows despues de la instalacion del ubuntu, al paracer borro completamente el windows jeje, bueno me dijo que queria el windows otra vez, no tenia el recvery que le viene en el equipo porque tambien lo borro, que paso, tenia un windows 7 todos en un DVD. ok, formateamos la unidad le quedo como nuevo el HDD, procedi a instalar el window 7 starter, muy bien todo,  progresando, uuu que se instala !!!! todo perfecto., reinicia y arranca de maravilla jajaj, listo. Como a los tres dias viene a mi casa y me dice que el windows no le arranca que al salir el logo del windows se comienza a lentar el splash???(se dice splash o el cargador del sistema o como se dice??) y que ya no arranca el SO, digo mmmm que habra pasado , haber otra vez.....Mismo proceso formatear blablabla
arranca todo normal y listo, que creen que pasa despues??? lo mismo!! el sistema no arranca se alenta la animacion cuando se carga el windows 7 y hay queda. Bueno tercera vez , hice lo mismo pero le dije que me dejara el equipo y ese mismo dia ya instalado por tercera vez el SO , arranque el equipo tres veces, al tercer arranque pasa lo mismo no arranca el SO. Ok bueno instale el windows 7 home basic 32 bits creo?? pasa lo mismo!!!!!, o pues que sera volvi a quemar el DVD, instale el starter y lo mismo, maquina virtual!! no pasa eso el windows trabaja bien.

Que puede ser????

PD: Mi primo ya usa ubuntu como unico SO en su compu, pero quiere el windows para jugar al halo y al age, ya se que con wine se puede pero personalmente no eh podido hacer correr el halo en wine.
