cada vez que intento acceder a la ruta http://ftp://locahost desde mi ordenador, me pide user y password aunque permita la entrada de usuarios anónimos.

No obstante lo he configurado para no permitirlos, me creo un usuario que si tiene acceso, pero sin embargo me da error al acceder, no sé donde lo estoy haciendo mal.

Tengo dos archivos más
1.- vsftpd.user_list que es donde tengo el usuario y la contraseña que en principio puede acceder al servidor.

1.- vsftpd.chroot_list que es donde tengo el usuario y la contraseña que en principio NO puede acceder al servidor.

pero ni con uno ni con otro.

Si quieres activar el modo anonymous, la siguiente línea tienes que ponerla en "YES":



En tu archivo de configuración vsftpd.conf tampoco veo la línea donde activas el acceso de invitado para los
usuarios definidos en chroot_list, deberás agregar la siguiente línea:


En el fichero chroot_list los nombres van cada uno en una línea (lo digo por si acaso).


Luego tendrás que crear el usuario:

para poder subir debes descomentar esta linea

anon_mkdir_write_enable=YES

chroot es como una jaula donde se establecen los usuarios que no podran moverse por otros directorios a los que no se les haya habilitado.


vsftp es solo un demonio ftp, y apache es un demonio para web`s  una no necesita de la otra para funcionar.

Acabo de hacer un tutorial: Instalación de un servidor FTP en Linux (vsftpd).

Es bastante básico pero, tal vez te sirva de algo.

Para quienes lean este post como yo buscando la solucion al problema, este se soluciona asignandole una shell valida al usuario.

En el archivo /etc/passwd verificar que el usuario que queremos se conecte tenga al final /bin/bash, con eso iniciara sesion sin problema.
