Esto no me funciono
llegue hasta donde tengo que colocar esto:
#invoke-rc.d gdm stop
luego entro en modo consola y no encontre la forma de salir de ahi. esto me llevo a reiniciar y a descargar los drivers privativos de ati, los instale por consola
ati-driver-installer-11-6-x86.x86_64.run
me dejo subir la resolucion ahora a 1360 x 768, peeeerrooo todo se ve igual de grande
y ahora la tasa de refrescamiento es mas lenta que hagoooooooooooo .... ahora anda peor aqui dejo parte de mi xconfig
