Buenas,

Tengo una tarjeta grafica Nvidia Geforce GTS250 y el sistema operativo Debian versión 2.6.32-5-686 y resulta que la resolución máxima que puedo poner es de 1380x768, me gustaría saber si es posible poner la resolución 1920x1200.

He instalado los drivers desde la pagina oficial de Nvidia, he leído muchos manuales y he probado varias cosas pero no lo he conseguido. ¿Alguien puede ayudarme o indicarme si es posible hacer lo que quiero?

Mi archivo de configuración xorg.conf lo tengo de la siguiente manera:


Esta configuración me la creo por defecto el programa nvidia-xconfig que viene en Debian y no tengo ningún problema para poner al máximo de resolución que soporta mi monitor 1920 × 1080.

Yo no tengo ningún problema, solo puse mi configuración para ver si le sirve a Reyentus.

Buscá el paquete nvidia-settings y ahí podés configurar la resolución ... pero primero borrá ese xorg.conf y seguido de eso ejecutá nvidia-xconfig.
