FIJATE EN ESTO:
AoM usa una especie de whitelist para las placas de video que soporta, como AoM salio en el 2002 tu mother, supongo que por el chipset debe ser del 2003, asi que seguro no esta en la whitelist. Podrias probar agregando tu placa a la lista (que esta en la carpeta "gfxconfig" del AoM), copiando los mismos parametros que tiene la "S3savageMX". Haciendo eso seguramente lo vas a poder juar... por unos 10.. 15.. minutos y se va a colgar.
Encontre esto dando vueltas por ahi, pero no tengo una pc con esa placa onboard para probarlo..
I got AOM to play on a A7V8X-MX-UAY with the VIA Unichrome built-in graphics. I added these
to the gfxconfig folder in AOM's folders:
0x5333_s3.gfx dated 29/08/2002 copied and renamed to two items:
0x1106_s3g.gfx
0x7205_s3g.gfx
savage4.gfx copied and renamed to:
ViaS3G.gfx
Y si con eso no funciona.. vas a tener que ir pensando en cambiar la placa de video... =(

Worked fine; no after five-minute crashes - I just finished a two-hour long game
with graphics detail set on high, 1024x768...then after that I tried to crash it by
exiting the game, restarting, shutting it off with ctrl-alt-delete end task, restarting
it, ejecting the CD, etc. - could not get it to crash.
