Pero no es de codigo abierto el SO que estan desarrollando, lo que intentamos hacer es diferente, aparte vamos a utilizar una nueva tecnologia que recien a salido al mercado. Siento no poder darte mas informacion debido a que soy un simple reclutador, yo se que parece demasiado prometedora la idea pero te digo que se esta poniendo en marcha, ya ahora vamos a subir una iso del sistema a un server FTP.
Una idea muy ambiciosa se asoma al mundo de los autos, una idea asombrosa, que tal si todos los autos tuviesen el sistema operativo Linux?, bueno esa idea va cobrando vida poco a poco de la mano de Jesus Sanchez y su Team. Este proyecto se llama SAAB 91, es un auto con sistema operativo linux similar a los que usan los aviones, va a incluir sistema GPS, aplicaciones con interfaces amigables al usuario tipo, sistema de autonavegacion y muchas otras cosas mas. Jesus me ha encargado el trabajo de reclutar gente que sepa programar en los lenguajes basicos de linux o que solo quiera difundir la idea, necesitamos el apoyo- aporte de universidades que se quieran unir a este proyecto. THE NAME 91: Is an homage to the SAAB 91 Safir, a little plane developed by SAAB in the Netherlands and Sweden. This name is a hidden reminiscence to Spyker (Netherlands) and SAAB (Sweden). The name respond exclusively to historical reasons in the actual context and also to the first car with real aeronautical systems (The SAAB 91).

Our Linux team is working in this operating system. It will have two versions: MACHINE VERSION (with an ultralight kernel as similar as possible to UNIX to control the car's functions) and DESKTOP VERSION an evoluted version of Ubuntu Linux adapted specially for SAAB CARS and also for desktop computers.
-The operating system can run applications in real time. It would be possible to synchronize your blackberry or cell phone with the applications runing inside the car, you will be able to run applications as OpenOfice in real time.
- All the internal functions of the car, will be controlled by the operating system, this will allow to the mainteinance technicians save time and money accomplishing modifications in your car. For example, you can increase the Horse Power of your SAAB 91, just running a computer program that modify the enine paramenters. All the statistics of the usage of the vehicle will be stored in your key (in a MicroSD card or transferred to your cell phone in real time via Bluetooth of WIFI).
