hola a todos,soy nuevo en el foro y tambien en temas de linux,llevo 14 años de informatico y siempre he tocado windows.el cliente manda,,,
el otro dia me trajo un amigo un pen con este sistemilla ,y la verdad es que me gusto ,me lo dejo,lo estuve trasteando y tal,y me tiene absorvido,el problema es que,viene a por el pen,y antes de que se lo lleve ,me ofrece instalarlo en el disco duro de mi portatil,creamos las particiones,siguiendo el manual,y a la hora de instalar el grub,pues no hay manera....siempre da el mismo error,lo he probado con el disco duro con un w7 instalado,hechas las particiones como indica el manual,con el partition magic,con el otro gratuito,formateando el hd y eliminandolo todo...nada...el error es el siguiente...le doy a instalar ,selecciono donde copiar,se copia sin problema,siguiente,,ejecutar grubconfig,sale el menu,le damos por orden,1 linea ok,1linea ok,elejimos donde instalar,en mi caso,/dev/hda2 ok,sale os2 boot manager found,le doy no,elegir tercera linea,mbr ok,poner ruta disco duro,/dev/hda ok,y ahora se pone a trabajar y dice.....

sorry,but the attempt to install GRUB has returned an error, so GRUB
has not been correctly installed. you´ll have to use a bootdisk to
start your machine instead. it may be possible to get GRUB working by
editing the  /boot/grub/menu.lst file and installing grub manually.

intento editar el menu.lst del grub,pero me dice que no existe..
