Hola  todos tengo un poco de lío entre la conversión entre señales digitales y analógicas.

Por una parte tengo un deco de satelite que tiene salida hdmi y quiero conseguir verlo en una tv con entrada euroconector.

Me habían dicho que hiciera la siguiente conversión con cables
hdmi->dvi -> vga -> euroconector
y el audio (proviniente de otra salida del deco) soldarlo a las patillas del euroconector

El cable de hdmi a dvi funciona porque lo he probado en otra TV pero no tengo audio.

La duda se me plantea en el paso de dvi a vga y de vga a conector

dvi es digital y vga es analógico; por tanto, tenía entendido que esta conversión no es posible por cable y necesitas un conversor. No obstante existen cables que lo hacen (p.e: http://www.datapro.net/products/dvi-to-vga-analog-video-cable.html ). ¿ Cómo es posible?

También existe cable de vga a scart y rca pero de los que me he comprado no funcionan. En teoría , debería ser posible este último paso ya que ambas señales son analógicas, no?

Según todo esto, un cable hdmi a scart debería existir y no lo he encontrado.
alguien me dijo que no exisitía porque uno era digital y otro analógico y que necesitaría algo como esto: http://www.svideo.com/hdmi2svideo.html, que va alimentado y vale unos 50 €

Me gustaría saber si pueden haber 2 macs iguales en una red local ethernet y poder navegar. Había oído que el comportamiento es diferente en wifi que en ethernet pero no lo tengo claro.

¿Alguien ha experimentado con ésto?

Ya me arranca. He desconectado la regleta un momento y ya me ha arrancado.

Hola a todos,

Esta mañana he arrancado mi portátil (toshiba u300-102) y se encienden las luces pero no se ve nada en la pantalla. El disco duro parpadea un unos segundos pero se para. No sale ni la pantalla de la bios ni pita. La batería aparece como descargada.

Con el cable de corriente cuando esta la pantalla negra, el cd rom puedo abrirlo y cerrarlo pero le pongo algún cd de arranque del ubuntu y no arranca. No recuerdo como tengo habilitado el boot.

Parece como si hubiera estado toda la noche con la batería desgastada y no ha tenido energía para mantener los datos de la bios. ¿Puede ser la pila de la bios gastada, si es que los portátiles llevan?Es muy raro. Pinta que la batería está cargando. Esperaré a que se cargue la batería, a ver.
¿Alguien tiene alguna idea de que puede ser?

Did you try System Restore, after using the Startup Repair? This would be the best option, at this point. If SR is not enabled, you will need to perform the following.

 

This procedure enables you to edit the registry from within the Vista Recovery Environment. Be careful and follow the steps explicitly.

 

Follow the same steps, as in the previous message to access the RE with the Vista boot disc.

 

At the Repair options, select the Command Prompt option.

 

1. Type C:   [Press ENTER]

 

2. At C:>  type  regedit   [Press ENTER]

The registry editor will open.

 

3. In the Registry select  'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE' and then go to File/Load Hive.

In the 'Load Hive' dialog box, navigate to the C:\Windows\System32\Config  folder.

In the Config folder, select  SOFTWARE  and click Open.

In the Name Hive dialog box, type a unique name, such as EDIT1 and click OK.

 

4. You should now see the EDIT1 branch, expand this branch and navigate to,

\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon.

 

5. In the right side of the Winlogon Key you will see a Value called  'Shell', double click this value.

In the Value Data box, it should show  'Explorer.exe'  and nothing else. If it shows something different, change the Value Data to Explorer.exe.

Click OK.

 

6. Scroll back up and select the EDIT1 branch.

 

7. Go to File and select Unload Hive.

 

Exit the registry editor and the command prompt. Press the 'Restart' button to reboot.

 

Reboot normally.

FIX: Event Log Corrupt
Thread has many different approaches to solving the same symptoms. So, maybe this post will help others.

My black screen after logon: system hung with no response to control-alt-delete. Only thing that worked was pressing SHIFT KEY 5 TIMES. The sticky key assistant opens, then you can CLICK the link to edit advaced settings. This got me to an explorer, then manually entered into the address line
c:\windows\system32\msconfig. Using that tool, you can go into diagnostics mode and shut down services and startup tasks. Restart the computer.

Using msconfig I narrowed down the cause of the black screen to the Event Log Service.

Using that knowledge, was able to find the log files (new to vista: they're stored in a dedicated folder vs. the old .evt files of previous Windows versions.)

Este finde a ver si lo pruebo. Para eso, solamente con el DVD de instalación seria suficiente no. Es que con el XP lo hice una vez pero con vista no se si va igual.

Alguien sabe algo? Me extraña pq mi portatil llevaba vista preinstalado supuestamente genuino.

Mi gozo en un pozo. He probado con la salida externa y se ve lo mismo:

pantalla negra con cursor. He estado jugando con esta tecla y nada.

Lo curioso es que parece que está operativo pq programé la tecla de apagado para que hiberne y cuando le doy parece que eso es lo que hacer precisamente.

Podría ser que se haya fastidiado el driver de vga?

Si pulso F8, solamente me aparecen las opciones:
- modo seguro
- modo seguro con funciones de red
- simbolo del sistema
- iniciar windows normalmente

De estas opciones, he probado todas menos la segunda y llego al mismo punto.

Con el DVD de arranque de Vista intento restaurar a un punto de restauración anterior pero me dice que no hay, la cual cosa me parece extraña pq yo recuerdo haber tenido.
