hola amigos tengo una duda si uso crystal reports y cuando genere mi ejecutable .exe si quiero usar mi programa en otra pc tiene que tener instalado el crystal reports sino no funcionaria?

No he llegado a usar los reportes de CrystalReports, pero al parecer estás en lo correcto, aunque según parece puedes instalarlo de forma silenciosa, y eso sería algo más ameno para el end-user.

Hola, no, no hace falta tenerlo instalado, solamente tenes que instalar las Crystal Reports .NET Runtime (librerias) y para eso en la pagina de crystal reports ya esta para descargar el instalador en sus 2 versiones (x86 o x64), aca te dejo los links:

pesan alrededor de 15 megas, pero solo necesitas uno dependiendo si es 64 bits o no:
