Voy muy perdida ya que soy muy nueva en linux...
tengo un netbook, pero a mi ni me detecta la tarjeta de red...
Como si no tubiese integrado el portatil.
Uso ubuntu 11.10 y al entrar en la terminal me sale esto.

Es un UBuntu 11.04?

Hiciste alguna tentativa de hacer lo que el link que puse explica?

Si. Pero entre que soy nueva en ubuntu y esta en ingles, no me entero de nada :s

Te propongo>SI no consigues hacer los parametros del link que te pase.

1- Bajate la version certificada que Ubuntu abrió recientemiente para Acer-<

Puedes cambiar el idioma en Sistema/ SOporte de idioma.

NO te olvides de Unetbootin asi no tienes problema con perdida de DVDS o cds.

Espero bién que funcione, asi verás que Ubuntu es más fácil de lo que parece.

Pues detectarla sí que la detecta (o al menos la identifica). Fíjate en la última línea:


(Además la identifica correctamente, "Atheros Communications Inc. AR242x / AR542x Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express) (rev 01)", es la que traen algunos Acer Aspire One.)

También iwconfig parece reconocerla, fíjate la línea "wlan0":


¿No te detecta ninguna red inalámbrica? A veces puede ser una tontería; prueba a apagar el wifi con el botón que hay a la derecha, esperar unos instantes, y volver a encender el botón.
